Community guidelines
How to treat other members in Arqaan, what you can do if someone does not, and what we do about it.
Where these apply
Arqaan's community is your friends, their gardens and the weekly league. The only things you write that other members see are your display name and your handle; alongside them they see your avatar and your progress. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what friends and your league bracket can see.
These guidelines put section 4 of our Terms of Use into plain words. Where the two differ, the Terms apply.
Please don't
- harass, threaten or abuse another member, or pretend to be someone else;
- choose a display name, handle or avatar that is obscene, hateful or meant to mislead;
- cheat the league by automating taps, scripting the app, changing your phone's clock, tampering with the API, or running several accounts to raise a standing;
- try to reach another member's data or break the app's security;
- report someone in bad faith.
If someone bothers you
On the Community tab, open your friends list and tap the more-options button beside the person's name.
- Remove
- Ends the friendship. You can add each other again later with a new request.
- Block
- You won't see this person, and they won't see your garden. You can unblock them later from the same list.
- Report
- Choose Spam, Unkind behaviour or Something else, and the report comes to us.
To keep your row off the leaderboard, turn off Show me on the leaderboard in Settings or on your Profile. Accounts created from 25 September 2026 start hidden.
To report someone who is not your friend, such as a member of your league bracket, email us their display name.
What we do
- We read reports and act on them.
- League standings gained by cheating may be reset without notice.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these guidelines. Where it is reasonable, we tell you why first; serious abuse may be acted on immediately.
Need to reach us about another member? Email contact@hajify.com and a person will read it.
